Manuscript criteria

What our editors look for

Originality

Research should be a significant addition to the accumulated knowledge within your discipline, which implies it must offer something new.

Organization

The paper should be organized logically and coherently, with clear titles and headings and a recognizable structure (abstract, introduction, methods, and so on). Please limit your paper to 20 pages, not including references.

Significance

A paper’s significance is its contribution to, and impact on, a research field. It also signals who benefits from the findings and how.

Quality

The paper should show in-depth discussion in every section, with minimal spelling and grammatical errors. Analysis should be integrated into the author’s own voice, with synthesis of ideas within and between sections and a coherent flow.
